Fresh Pet Review - Janice's Return Week!

"Almost seven years ago, a bunch of us were talking about how much we love our pets – we let them sleep in our beds, we spend whatever it takes when they get sick, we throw them birthday parties. They’re part of our families. We work hard to give our pets the very best, just like our children - to keep them happy, healthy and safe.  And then we turned to what we were feeding them.  Most of us were feeding our pets dry, processed corn byproducts and dehydrated meat from a bag. And we all know dogs and cats are carnivores."

We decided, in that conversation, to do something about it. To stop feeling frustrated by the constraints of big companies – to start fresh.

Ever since we got our dog, Bubbles, around Christmas time, we've been searching for yummy, good tasting dog food and treats. We were so excited when we found the Fresh Pet brand in the pet aisle at Walmart. We figured dog treats that had ingredients like Beef, Chicken, Ground Oats, Beef Broth, Salt, and Natural Flavors would be great for her. Since then, these have by far become her favorite dog treats. These are her "potty training" treats for when she goes to the bathroom outside. She loves them so much that when she now comes back inside, her automatic reaction is to stand in front of the refrigerator door, waiting for her Fresh Pet, Dog Joy, treat.

When I found out that Fresh Pet was introducing "Ready to Bake" dog treat cookies, I couldn't wait to review them! Fresh Pet sent two different kinds of "Ready to Bake" cookies for Bubbles to try out. We decided to bake the Oatmeal and Cranberry cookies. The cookies are already pre-cut and ready to go on the tray.

The cookies immediately started making the house smell like homemade cookies. The smell alone made ME hungry for cookies; in fact, I would recommend having some human cookies on hand to help fight the urge to eat these dog treats (since they're not for humans). The cookies bake at a normal 350 degrees for about 10 minutes. No flipping, no mixing, no mess. These cookies are easy and simple.

The verdict? Bubbles LOVES these cookies! I don't know if she will be able to decide which Fresh Pet product she likes more, the Dog Joy treats, or the Dognations "Ready to Bake Cookies".

The next product on our list to try?

The Fresh Pet Select Slice and Serve!

The next time your shopping in your supermarket, make sure to ask them if they have Fresh Pet!
