iStyle Originals Review and Giveaway!

I was so excited to learn that I would get to review an iStyle Originals shirt! These shirts are steadily rising in popularity and even celebrities are wearing these shirts! 

I was allowed to choose which shirt I wanted to review, and because I play a lot of games, I chose the "iGame" T-Shirt. 

When I got my iGame T-Shirt, the first thing I noticed was the awesome packaging! It comes in this amazing box that will tell you which "version" (size) shirt you ordered. On the back of the box, it tells you the "system requirements" are Arms 2.0, Torso or similar display, and a compatible local area network. I'd love to meet this marketing team, because I think the box is pure genius! Once you open the box, you'll find your amazing shirt, which is tag-less and 100% pre-shrunk cotton. Along with the shirt, you will also find a handy "User Manual". The manual is like any other in that it will show you how to, and how to not wear your shirt. :)

iStyle Originals does not only have T-shirts, but they also have beanies, baby clothes (otherwise known as nanowear), and even a shirt for your beloved pet!

Savvy Rest Review

I love reading a company's mission statement, I think it speaks volumes about what kind of brand you are working with. 

The Savvy Rest Mission Statement:

"Our commitment to you: (1) Purity: our materials are natural, nontoxic, certified and independently tested. (2) Comfort: every Savvy Rest organic mattress is customized for the individual. (3) Integrity: we treat customers with honesty and respect. (4) Value: a Savvy Rest will long outlast a conventional mattress"

I think their mission statement is a great led into my Savvy Rest Review. 

I was able to review their Shredded Latex Pillow. 

When I received the pillow, I was so excited that I couldn't wait to get it out of the box. I was shocked too, that the pillow had some heaviness to it, something I'm not accustomed to. But once my head hit the pillow, I was surprised to find that it was soft and so comfortable. I could also tell that it was nicely made. I've found that when I wake up in the morning, that sore spot in my neck isn't hurting or stiff. And let's all admit, it's hard enough getting out of bed as it is, let alone with a hurting or stiff neck! This pillow has really helped and I would recommend it to anyone with allergies or in need of neck support. 

The only thing I would warn is that because it is made with shredded latex, I would say it smells a little bit like balloons at first. I just took of the soft pillow cover though and threw that in the washer. It seemed to take care of that problem for me. 

Not only does Savvy rest have pillows, but they have other things too!

A little bit about the creator of the Complete Laundry System

 Her name is Fern Gunderson and she was raised on a farm in Iowa. She was diagnosed with colitis and told that she would have it for the rest of her life. She, however, decided to turn her attention to the natural world and found a supplement in Canada that allowed her to get rid of the disease. Over the years, Fern then used her belief in using nature to fix life's problems to create the Mystic Wonder Ball. 

A little bit about the Mystic Wonder Ball

The shell of the Wonder Ball is about 2 3/4 inches in diameter and is made from a virgin PVC/vinyl. The internal contents are a frequency enhanced mineral blend. When the minerals move around in your washing machine, they create an energy field that makes the water thin and fine. This thinner, finer water can then go through clothes easier and with proficiency. 

I must admit I've heard my sister talk about laundry balls before, but I was always a little bit skeptical. When I got my Complete Laundry System, I was so impressed even before I opened the box that held the system. The box that holds the system has the instructions neatly and nicely placed on the box. I also found a nifty spray bottle that I can use and a newsletter that made for interesting reading. The complete laundry system is very easy to use!  I'm a believer in this system now!

Step 1: put the wonder ball in your washing machine, pre-treat any spots and loosely put your clothes in. That's it! No laundry detergent, no fabric softener, no bleach! The wonder ball will actually take out all the old layers of detergent, softeners and most stains. When I used it, my whites came out clean and smelling fresh!

Step 2: After your clothes are done washing, take out your wonder ball and replace it with your dryer balls for the drying process. The funny looking nubs on the ball actually help cut drying time by redistributing the heat! 

That's it! Laundry Complete!

Enjoy Lighting Review and Giveaway

There's nothing better than coming home from a long day of work, being able to "light" a candle and relax. 

When I got the opportunity to review Enjoy Lighting, I couldn't wait until they came in the mail! I'm such a candle person and I love all kinds of different scents. After getting my candles, I discovered a lot of things about them that I never knew. The candles are actually made of wax, so they really do look authentic. I love how the LED lights give the look of a flickering candle. They also don't have any wires of cords sticking out of them which is a major plus if you have small children. 

I was able to get the flame-less Holiday candles. The scents are amazing! I'm already ready for Christmas to arrive, and these candles put me in the mood even more. I put one on the shelf in my bathroom and was able to leave it without worrying about an open flame catching something on fire. With a usual candle, I would be constantly worrying that it would catch something on fire, or that I would forget about lighting it. With Enjoy Lighting though, I can turn them on, set the timer, and leave them alone. It gives such a peace of mind!  

While on the Enjoy Lighting website, I also saw these cute snowmen! They would make a perfect Christmas gift.

The only other thing I would tell someone is to make sure and have AA batteries on hand when you purchase the Enjoy flame-less candle, because they are not included.

CitySlips Review and Giveaway

If you are like me, you're forced to wear the "beautiful, most uncomfortable" footwear to work. If not, consider yourself lucky. I am one of those people, that as soon as I get into my car I push my seat back all the way and throw my shoes off and drive home in my pantyhose. 

It always seems like I can never find the "perfect" pair of shoes. Some make my heels hurt, others don't give enough support for the arch in my foot, while others have that amazing visual appeal that you convince yourself will be more comfortable than any shoes you've ever wore, but end up giving you blisters within the first day of wear.

Well, I've finally found a pair of shoes that fix all the above! 

CitySlips are comfortable shoes that I would consider "ballet flats." They are perfect if you are going out and about to the store, mall, or club. I love the style and quality. The heel and ball of your foot have extra padding on the shoe, so the shoes don't wear out. 

I LOVE that they come in a cute, little bag to carry them. I placed them in my purse and then once I left work, I was able to throw my heels in the expandable bag, and throw my CitySlips on my feet and run to the store in comfort before heading home for the night.

The Turkish Towel Company Inc. Review

"Deep in the mountains of Southern Turkey there is a small village nestled under snow capped peaks. In this mountain hamlet called Babadag, lived and worked many of the master weavers of Turkish carpets. Legend has it that sometime during the 15th Century, one of these craftsmen decided to try weaving towels in the same manner that he wove rugs. Previous to this, all towels in the world were flat woven and had no loops. This weaver thought that the same loops that were used in carpet weaving would make a better towel and in fact the addition of loops to the towel did make it absorb water much faster. And thus the Turkish towel was born and became the world’s standard.
As the towel weaving business in Turkey grew and became world famous, these descendants of the village of Babadag became the best quality towel producers in the world. The Turkish Towel Company is owned by these descendants."

I was lucky enough be able to review some of the amazing make up towels.

On The Turkish Towel Company Inc, you can read about how each towel is inspected at least three times; after weaving, dyeing, and stitching.

When I first saw the makeup towels, I was so impressed with how "clean" and modern they looked. They were so stylish! When I used the towel to take off my makeup from the day, the towel was so soft and comfortable.

These makeup towels are so unique and modern. They look perfect in any bathroom and make me feel like I'm visiting a spa, right in my own house! Which speaking of spas, they have amazing kimonos.

I would recommend these towels to anyone and everyone! There's even a complete bath set that would be perfect for a house warming gift.

Take Life by the Horns! (Red Bull Review)

I was given the chance to do a review of Red Bull.

If you are like me, you watch as your boyfriend, husband or significant other drink a red bull down if they are expecting a long day, or if they are just in need of that extra boast. 

The Red Bull products I was sent to try.

Now, probably like most of you, I would watch my boyfriend drink it, but would never try it myself. So, when I was offered the chance to try Red Bull, I went with the quote "can't say you don't like something unless you try it!" 

Before I give my review, I just want to give this company extra credit, not for the product, but for the customer service. I had the opportunity to speak with a helpful woman named Catherine. She had an upbeat tone in her voice and it was a pleasure to talk with her. If all companies had this kind of customer service, life would be much easier!

Now for the review, I decided to try the Red Bull out this morning because as we all know, working Saturday mornings after a Friday night is no fun! I drank the Red Bull on my way to work and enjoyed the refreshing taste. Once I got to work, that feeling of drowsiness subsided and I could work with the energy I needed. 

When I got home tonight from a long day, I decided to try out the Red Bull Cola. The taste is a little different from the original, but equally as good. Overall, I would tell people what I told myself when I reviewed this product. "You can't say you don't like something if you never tried it!" I have yet to try the energy shot or sugar free Red Bull, but only because I wanted to save those for the next time I need that extra jump start.
